A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OP SANTA ANA MAKING FINDINGS ON
PETITION AND WAIVER
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 237 (QUIGLEY LANE)
WHEREAS, certain property owners have presented to the
City Council an executed Petition requesting the construction
of certain public works of improvement together with appur-
tenances, said improvements to be financed through bonds to
be issued pursuant to the terms and provisions of the
"Improvement Act of 1911," bein9 Division 7 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California in assessment
district to be known and designated as follows:
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 237 (QUIGLEY LANE)
WHEREAS, said Petition contains a waiver of the provisions
and limitations of the "Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 19~1," as provided
for in Section 2804 of said Act; and
WHEREAS, it has been reported that said Petition and
Waiver contains the signatures of all of the owners of ~o~e
than sixty percent (60%) in area of the property to be subject
to assessment for said proposed improvement,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and
correct.
SECTION 2. That the City Council finds that said
Petition and Waiver has been signed by all of the owners of
more than sixty percent (60%) in area of the property to be
subject to assessment fcr the improvement requested in said
Petition, and meets the requirements of Section 2804 of
Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
SECTION 3. That said Petition and Waiver shall be filed
in the Office of the City Clerk of said City.
SECTION 4. That said District shall be known and
entitled ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 237 (QUIGLEY LANE)
SECTION 5. That said improvements and proceedings shall
be financed by bonds pursuant to the provisions of the "Improve-
ment Act of 1911," being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways
Code with said proceedings pursuant to the terms and provisions
of said Improvement Act of 1911.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the
18th day of November , 1974.
