Present: Councilmen Absent: CounciLmen Proposed annexation "S.E.Southern Pacific and Delhi Annex" Dale H. Heir]y, J. Ogden Markel, Courtney R. Chandler William Jerome, Milford W. Dahl Petition signed by Jack T. Sakioka and Johnny K. Sakioka, recommendation of the Planning Commission and report of the Boundary Commission were presented on the proposed annexation of 19.74 acres located south of Delhi Road and east of Southern Pacific Railroad. On motion of CounciLman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, Reso. No. 56-251 "S.E.Southern Pacific and Delhi Annex" said documents w~re received and filed. The Council having, unanim~lXsly waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of CounciLman Heinly,.second~d by Markel and c~arried, the following Resolution entitle~ "Resolution No. 56-251 giving notice of proposed annexation to the City of Santa Bna of that certain uninhabited territory described herein and designated 'S.E.Southern Pacific and Delhi Annex' and giving notice of time and place for hearing of protests thereto" was considered and passed by the following vote: Reso. No. 56-252 "Delhi and Newport Annex" ~%1q Aye s, CounciLmen Noe s, CounciLmen Absent, CounciLmen Dale H. Heinly, J. Ogden Markel, Courtney R. Chandler None William Jerome, Milford W. Dahl CounciLman Dahl arrived at 5:25 P.M. On motion of CounciLman Dab_l, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolut~ entitled: "Resolution initiating proceedings for the annexation of territory to the City of Santa Aha, designated 'Delhi and Newport Annex', and giving notice of time and place of hearing of protests thereto" on annexation of 322.29 acres bounded northeasterly by the Santa Fe Railway, bounded southwesterly by Delhi ]~ad, beunded Southeasterly bY Red Hill Avenue and bounded ~no westerly by Newport Avenue, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 56-252 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, CounciLmen Noes, CounciLmen Absent, Councilmen Dale H.
