RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
REQUIRE CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 237 (QUIGLEY LANE); AND FURTHER THAT THE
"SPECIAL ASSESSMENT INVESTIGATION, LIMITATION
AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931" SHALL NOT
APPLY; AND DETERMINING THAT SUCH PROJECT SHALL
PROCEED UNDER THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF THE
"IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 1911."
WHEREAS, a public hearing, for which reasonable notice has
been given by publication and posting has been held as to the
public convenience and necessity for the construction of certain
street improvements and appurtenances in the City of Santa Ana,
California, in ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 237 (QUIGLEY LANE); and
WHEREAS, this City Council has heard and considered all the
evidence both oral and written relative to the public convenience
and necessity of the construction of the aforesaid improvement; and
WHEREAS, this City Council now is satisfied as to the
improvements and work as proposed,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, as follows:
SECTION 1. That this City Council hereby finds
mines that the public convenience and necessity require
ing work and improvement, to wit:

The construction of a sanitary sewer line together
with appurtenances and appurtenant work generally
to serve properties on the west side of QUIGLEY
LANE (private street) in what is designated as
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 237 (QUIGLEY LANE)
SECTION 2. This City Council further determines that the
provisions and limitations of the "Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931" shall not be applicable
to proceedings for this improvement.
SECTION 3. That this project for improvements and acquisi-
tion shall proceed in accordance with the terms and provisions of
the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Division 7 of the Streets and
Highways Code and that bonds, for purposes of financing said pro-
ject, shall be issued in accordance with the terms and provisions
of said Act.

Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of
