RESOLUTION NO. 75-50
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CLERK
OF THE COUNCIL TO APPOINT A HEARING OF-
FICER TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS OR APPEALS
IN CERTAIN TYPES OF MATTERS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
has passed an ordinance, NS-1235, providing for a Uniform
Appeals Procedure; and
WHEREAS, that ordinance provides that the City Council
may authorize the Clerk of the Council to appoint a Hearing
Officer to consider applications or appeals in certain types
of matters; and
City Council desires to authorize the
to appoint a Hearing Officer for appeals
from the denial, suspension, or revocation of permits in the
following types of matters:
WHEREAS, the
Clerk of the Council
1. Taxicab permits;
2. Taxicab driver's permits'
3. Taxicab permits for certificates of convenience;
4. Masseuse permits;
5. Massage parlor permits; and
6. Pool hall permits,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana that the Clerk of the Council is hereby
authorized to appoint a Hearing Officer for appeals from the
denial, suspension, or revocation of permits in the following
types of matters:
1. Taxicab permits;
2. Taxicab driver's permits;
3. Taxicab permits for certificates of convenience;
4. Masseuse permits;
5. Massage parlor permits; and
6. Pool hall permits.
