HomeMy WebLinkAbout75-107Recorded on August 8, 1975 Book 11479 Page 412 CJL:po 7-18-75 RESOLUTION NO. 75-107 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO~CIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING TItE VACATION OF A PORTION OF t~ZARD AVENUE WEST OF HARBOR BOULEVARD WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, Resolution No. 75-81 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate a portion of Hazard Avenue West of Harbor Boulevard; and WHEREAS,on August 4, 1975, a public hearing was duly held on vacation of said street on posted notice and the publication of said Resolution No. 75-81; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 5079 of the Public Resources Code of the State of California, this Council does hereby find and determine that neither said portion(s) of said street nor parts thereof is useful as bi- cycle paths or routes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that the abovementioned street is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning and vacating for street purposes that certain right of way located in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: A strip of land 2.00 feet in width, being a portion of the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 9, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Las Bolsas, in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California as per map recorded in Book 51, Page 12 of Miscell- aneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, being more particularly described as follows: The South 2.00 feet of Hazard Avenue adjoining the North lines of Parcel 4 and of Parcel 3 as shown on a map filed in Book 54, Page 31 of Parcel Maps, Records of said Orange County. Reserving an easement over the above-mentioned strip of land to construct, place operate, inspect, maintain, repair, replace, and remove such aerial and underground telephone, telegraph and communication structures as The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company may, from time to time, require, consisting of poles, anchors, wires, cables, conduits, manholes, markers, and necessary fixtures and appurtenances. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of August , 1975.
