HomeMy WebLinkAbout75-169A RESOLUTION NO. 75-169 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL COMMENDING VIRGINIA HILL UPON HER RETIREMENT WHEREAS, VIRGINIA HILL was born in Bakerstown, Pennsylvania; and WHEREAS, VIRGINIA HILL moved to Southern California with her family and settled in Santa Ana as a small child; and WHEREAS, VIRGINIA HILL attended Roosevelt Elementary School, Lathrop Junior High School, Santa Ana High School and Santa Ana College; and WHEREAS, VIRGINIA clerical schools; HILL developed considerable technical and expertise through her education in Santa Ana's and WHEREAS, VIRGINIA HILL entered the City of Santa Ana's service in November of 1950; and WHEREAS, VIRGINIA HILL continued to improve her professional skills at Santa Aha College while in service to the City; and WHEREAS, VIRGINIA HILL demonstrated a unique capability to effectively coordinate a wide variety of functions and people that has assisted in providing effective programs for the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, VIRGINIA HILL has consistently demonstrated a dedicated attitude and outstanding loyalty to the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, VIRGINIA HILL'S dedication to the residents and busi- nessmen of Santa Aha, and her willingness to serve the people of Santa Ana have provided a high standard for others to emulate; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that VIRGINIA HILL, after twenty-five years of service to the City of Santa Aha, consistently demonstrating loyalty, professionalism and dedication to the people of Santa Ana, is to be lauded and commended upon her retirement from City service on December 31, 1975, by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha.
