A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION
NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE HEW CLASS TITLE OF
PSYCHOLOGIST
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers
and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa
Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classifi-
cation and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval
of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1975, the City Council approved Resolution No. 75-177,
authorizing an agreement with the Office of Criminal Justice Planning and the California
Council on Criminal Justice for a Major Diversion Prevention Program (Juvenile); and
WHEREAS, said grant-funded program requires the employment of a full-time
Psychologist on the staff, a classification not currently included in the City's
Classification and Pay Plan; and
WHEREAS, in order to implement said grant-funded program as soon as possible,
it is now desired to add a new class to the list of class titles contained in
Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, and to allocate salary and wage schedules thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Resolution 58-281, as amended, is
hereby further amended, by adding to Section 3 thereof, in proper alphabetical
sequence, the following class title and salary range number as next herein set out:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on April 20, 1976.

regular meeting held on the 19th day of April , 1976.
