R~SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OVERRULING
AND D~YING PROTESTS.
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 240

WHEREAS, this City Council has passed and adop%~ its
~%eaolution of Intention to order the construction of certain im-
~e~ents, together with appurtenances and appurtenant work pur-
~&n.t to the terms and provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911,
~ei~g Division 7 of the Streets and Highways C~e of the State of
California in a Special Assessment District k~ ~ ~esignate,~
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 240
(SILVER ACRES)
(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District#); and,
WHEREAS, certain c~ners of property liable to be assessed
for i~provement have f~led w~itt~n protests or ob~ectio~s and de-
livered the same to the Clerk not later than the hour set for
hearing such objections; and,
WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing the protests and
objections, the said City Council proceeded to hear the same;
and all of the protests or objections having been heard and duly
considered
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF
SANTA ANA
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and
correct.
SECTIO}? 2. That all protests and objections of every
kind or nature be and the same are hereby overruled and denied.
SECTION 3. That it is hereby determine~ ~d found that
all said protests and objections are made by the o~w~nra of lees
than one-half of the area of the property to be aaseame4 for
said works of improvement within said Assessment District.
