A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA APPROVING THE 1978 SECTION 2156 REPORT
WHEREAS, Section 2156 of the California Street and
Highway Code provides that every city shall submit a "2156 Report"
to the Department of Transportation on or before May 1, 1977,
setting forth the progress it has made in the construction or
improvement of its road or street system, an estimate of its road
or street needs for the next five (5) years, and a projected esti-
mate of its road or street needs for the next ten (10) years; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has prepared and
submitted to the City Council said required 2156 Report; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the information provided
in the 2156 Report to be in conformance with instructions provided
by the Department of Transportation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana: That this Council approve the 2156 Report as
submitted.
A copy of said Report shall be transmitted to the Depart-
ment of Transportation on or before May 1, 1977, by the Clerk of
the Council.
