A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA REVISING LOCAL DRAINAGE AREA FEES
WHEREAS, on August 7, 1961 the City of Santa Ana adopted a Storm
and Surface Water Drainage Plan as an element of the General Plan of the City;
and
WHEREAS, Section 34-193 of the Municipal Code establishes thirteen
local drainage areas and drainage fees for each area; and
WHEREAS, drainage fees for the thirteen local drainage areas have
been revised in recent years by ordinance to reflect changes on.construction
costs; and
WHEREAS, on April 27, 1976 the City Council adopted Ordinance NS-1303
revising local drainage area fees to reflect construction costs as of December 31,
1975 and providing for later changes in local drainage area fees to be made by
resolution rather than ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the construction cost index for the Los Angeles area as
established by the Engineering News Record indicates a 13.032% increase in
construction costs during the twelve month period ending December 31, 1976;
