A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING A UNIFORM SCHEDULE
OF FEES AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS. 75-24,
75-66, 75-74, 75-115, 76-50, 76-126, 76-127
AND 76-139
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha performs special services for the benefit of a
limited number of persons to whom such services are of value; and
WHEREAS, it is felt that the cost of rendering such services should be borne by
that limited group who are the beneficiaries rather than the citizen~ at large; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that miform charges should be es-
tablished for such services, such charges to be paid by those persons who request
and receive such services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion also that the charges established
for such services should equate to the direct cost thereof to the City of Santa Ana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the following fees for services and mis-
cellaneous sales shall apply effective on the first day of July 1977:

FEE FOR RESERVATION OF RECREATIONAL CENTERS
Recreational Centers may be reserved by any group or organization,
when official City meetings, hearings or City-sponsored recrea-
tional activities are not previously scheduled.
There will be a rental charge for all other users of $10.00 per hour
made payable to the City of Santa Aha. Groups charging an entry fee
or donation will have an additional rental fee of 10% of gross monies
collected, unless as a non-profit organization. If the organization
does not meet the definition of "charitable" or "religious" as defined
in Chapter 26 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code, and does not have a
non-profit I.R.S. number, they will be classified as profit-making
and must pay the additional 10% fee. There will be a $50 cleaning
deposit charge per rental.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That copies of maps, diagrams, graphs, or special
work may be furnished upon the pa3mnent of the cost of printing and preparation.
For such items for which a regular established price is mavailable, the depart-
ment head, in collaboration with the Director of Finance, may establish a price
consistent with the cost of printing and preparation thereof. The Director of
Finance shall report such exceptions to the City Manager. It shall be the res-
ponsibility of the City Manager to review such costs annually and make such rec-
ommendations to the City Council as required to keep the charges consistent with
the costs. All governmental agencies and their official representatives shall be
exempt from paying these charges for single copies for official use.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: Resolution No. 75-24 of this Council, adopted on
April 9, 1975, Resolution No. 75-66 of this Council, adopted on June 2, 1975,
Resolution No. 75-74 of this Council, adopted on June 7, 1975, Resolution No. 75-
115, of this Council, adopted on September 2, 1975, Resolution No. 76-50, of this
Council, adopted on May 17, 1976, Resolution No. 76-126, of this Council, adopted
on October 4, 1976, Resolution No. 76-127, of this Council, adopted on October 4,
1976, and Resolution No. 76-139 of this Council, adopted on December 20, 1976, are
repeal ed.
