RESOLUTION NO. 77- 114
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION ON CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
NO. 77-23 TO ALLOW A CARE HOME AT 2801 WEST
BROOK STREET IN THE R1 DISTRICT AND APPROVING
SAID CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before
the City Council of the City of Santa Ana on October 3, 1977,
on the action taken by the Planning Commission in approving
Conditional Use Permit No. 77-23 to allow a care home for
five mentally retarded women at 2801 West Brook Street in
the R1 District, and
WHEREAS, prior to taking action on said conditional
use permit this Council has reViewed and considered the infor-
mation contained in Negative Declaration No. 77-174 for
the subject property and, on the basis thereof, finds that
the project will not have a significant effect upon the en-
vironment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That based on such public hearing and the oral
and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City Council
does hereby affirm the action of the Planning Commission
in approving Conditional Use Permit No. 77-23.
2. That the City C. ouncil hereby adopts as its
findings of fact for approval of the negative declaration
and Conditional Use Permit No. 77-23 that certain finding
of fact entitled "Conditional Use Permit NO. 77-23," prepared
and submitted by the Planning Commission, on file in the
office of the Clerk of the Council and incorporated by refer-
ence herein as though fully set forth.
