RESOLUTION NO. 77-119
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA PROHIBITING PARKING
ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF WASHINGTON AVENUE
WHEREAS, the heavy volume of traffic on Washington
Avenue, between Main Street and Lincoln Avenue, requires
restrictions on the use of said street for parking purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana as follows:
1. Effective immediately, parking is prohibited at
all times on both sides of Washington Avenue between Main
Street on the West and Santiago Street on the East.
2. Effective one hundred eighty (180) days from the
date of adoption hereof, parking is prohibited at all times
on the north side of Washington Avenue between Santiago
Street on the west and Lincoln Avenue on the east.
ADOPTED this 17th day of October
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Garthe, Bricken, Ortiz,
Evans, Brandt, Ward
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN:
