A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA FIXING WATER RATES AND
STANDBY SERVICE CHARGES AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 77-79.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana:
1. That the following water rates and service charges are to
be levied and collected for each water service to which water
is supplied by the City, or to which a standby service is pro-
vided, pursuant to Section 39-21 of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code.
A. WATER RATES BI-MONTHLY RATE PER 100 CUBIC FEET

(1) Minimum Meter Rates

In the event of a fire certified by the Fire
Chief, the charge will be adjusted to ex-
clude water used for fire suppression.
(4) Private fire service rates without de-
tector check valves, bi-monthly standby charge:
The charges shall be double the rates for
private fire services with detector check valves.
(5) Fire hydrant rates:
Public fire hydrant rates shall be two dollars
and eighteen cents ($2.18) per month per hydrant.
C. SERVICE OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS
Ail rates and service charges for service to
premises outside the City limits shall be double the above
rates and charges except to those premises outside the City
limits heretofore served at the rates charged to those with-
in the City limits.
D. TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE
(1) Water for construction work and other uses
such that service is required for only a limited
time, not to exceed six months as provided for in
Section 39-26 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code:

(3) Water for flat rate unmetered service
where a meter cannot be installed; bi-monthly:

2. That Resolution No. 77-79 fixing water rates and standby
service charges is hereby repealed, effective September 15, 1978.
3. That this resolution shall be operative from and after
the 15th day of September, 1978.
