RESOLUTION NO 79-5
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING THE
ANNEXATION OF THE "TUSTIN AVENUE -
FIRST STREET NORTHWEST AREA."
WHEREAS, Orange County Local Agency Formation
Commission adopted Resolution 78-186, designating the City
of Santa Ana as the conducting authority and directing the
City Council to initiate annexation proceedings; and
WHEREAS, said resolution provides that proceedings
of the legislative body of the conducting authority may be
held without notice and hearing, without an election, or
both; and
WHEREAS, all of the owners of land within the
territory proposed to be annexed have given their signed
consent to such annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, that said City Council does hereby
order that the area known as the "Tustin Avenue - First
Street Northwest Area," more specifically described in
"Exhibit A," and shown on a map entitled "Tustin Avenue And
First Street Northwest Annexation To The City Of Santa Ana,"
marked "Exhibit B," both of which are attached hereto, is
hereby annexed to the City of Santa Ana pursuant to the
authority granted in California Government Code Section
35229(b).
The Clerk of the Council is hereby directed to
cause a certified copy hereof, attested by her under seal,
to be sent to the Executive Officer of the Orange County
Local Agency Formation Commission.
ADOPTED this 8th day of 3anuar¥ , 1979, by
the following vote:

Garthe, Ward, Yamamoto

A portion of Lot 14 of the "Mabur) Tract" located in the County of
Orange as per~p recorded in Book 36, pag~ iS of Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles County, State of California, r~ore ~arttcularly described
as foll~s:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the
City of Yustin per Annexation Ordinance No. 106, said point being the
Northwest corner of said annexation: thence East following along said
existing boundary to the fiortheast corner of said annexation: thence
leaving said Annexation Ordinance ilo. 1D6 and continuing along the
existing boundary of the City of Tustin per Annexation Ordinance
No. 1D3 North 148.24 feet to the North linelof the Declaration
of IIomestead as recorded in Book 8021, page 49 of Official Records of
the County of Orange; thence leaving said existing boundary of the
City of Tustin and West' .' along'said North line to a point in the
existing boundary of the City of Santa Aaa per Ordinance No. NS-29~:
thence Southerly along said boundary to the Northwest corner of
Ordinance No. 106 of the City of Tustin and the point of beginning.
