RESOLUTION NO. 79-11
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA RATIFYING THE EXECUTION~ BY THE
CITY MANAGER, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, OF CERTAIN
CONTRACTS FOR MATERIALS, SUPPLIES, LABOR,
EQUIPMENT, AND OTHER VALUABLE CONSIDERATIONS,
AND FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA:
Each and every contract heretofore executed by the
City Manager on behalf of the city, pursuant to the
provisions of Section 421 of the Charter of the City of
Santa Ana, without advertising and without previous approval
by the City Council of each specific item for the payment of
charges for materials, supplies, labor, equipment, other
valuable consideration furnished to the city, or for Public
Works as defined in Charter Section 421, in amounts not
exceeding the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) each,
without a contract let to the lowest responsible bidder
after notice, in any one contract, is hereby ratified and
approved, and such ratification and approval shall,
furthermore, extend to each and every such contract so
executed prior to the effective date of Ordinance No. NS-
1477.
Resolution No. 72-30 of this Council adopted on
March 13, 1972, is hereby repealed.
