RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OVERRULING
AND DENYING PROTESTS AND MAKING CERTAIN
FINDINGS ~.D. 241 - SANTA ANITA NORTHEAST)
CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, this City Council has held and conducted a Public Hearing
on the confirmation of the assessments and acceptance of the works
of improvement in a special assessment district with the terms and
proceedings being conducted pursuant to the provisions of the "Im-
provement Act of 1911", being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California; said special assessment district
known and designated as
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 241
(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"); and,
WHEREAS, certain owners of property liable to be assessed for cer-
tain works of improvement have filed written protests or objections
and delivered the same to the City Clerk not later than the hour
set for the hearing thereon, and said protests have been presented
to the City Council for their consideration, and this Council has
proceeded to hear the same and is now ready to proceed with the
confirmation of the assessments and acceptance of the works of
improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA
CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2.
That all protests and objections of every kind and
nature be, and the same hereby are, overruled and
denied.
SECTION 3.
That it is hereby further determined that all pro-
perties within the boundaries of the Assessment
District do receive a local and direct benefit from
the works of improvement and that the assessable
costs and expenses have been apportioned and spread
against the properties within the Assessment Dist-
rict in direct proportion to benefits received thereto.
SECTION 4.
That the Engineer's method and formula of assessment
spread is equitable and hereby approved by this City
Council as being a correct and proper apportionment
and distribution of all assessable costs in re%ation
to the benefits received from the works of improve-
ment constructed under these proceedings.

Resolution, being Resolution No.79-91 , was duly passed,
approved, and adopted by said City Council, approved and
signed by the Mayor, and attested by the Acting City Clerk,
all at a regular meeting of said City Council held on
the 4th day of June , 1979, and that the same was passed
and adopted by the-'following vote, to-wit:
