RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING
AND PROVIDING FOR CONTRIBUTION TO PAY CER-
TAIN COSTS AND EXPENSES IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT

CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, this City Council has, by Resolution, declared its in-
tention to authorize the construction of certain works of improve-
ment pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Improvemen't Act
of 1911", being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, in a special assessment district known and
designated as
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 241
(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"); and,
WHEREAS, this City Council at this time is desirous of providin~
a contribution to pay a portion of the costs and expenses of the
work' and prodeedings; and,
WHEREAS, this City Council, pursuant to Chapter 2.5, Part 3, Divi-
sion 7 of the Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section
5126) may so provide for a contribution by said City of a part of
the costs and expenses of the work done under said Division, any
time prior to the confirmation of the proceedings on said Assess-
ment District.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA
CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true'and correct.
SECTION 2.
The City Council shall contribute the sum of
$ 291,752.88 , to be applied toward the
costs and expenses of the works of improvement
as installed and completed in said Assessment
District.
Said funds shall be appropriated from the
following source:
CO~h~IUNITY DEVELOP~,ENT FUND
SECTION 3.
That said contribution is as authorized pursuant
to Chapter 2.5 of the "Improvement Act of 1911",
being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California.

SECTION 4.
Said contribution shall be paid to the con%ractor
or his assigns upon delivery of the assessment
roll and warrant to him, as so provided in the
"Improvement Act of ~911", and upon payment of the
balance of all incidental expenses due under said
proceedings.
