RESOLUTION NO. 79-111
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING
SEWER CONNECTION FEES.
WHEREAS, section 39-53 of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code provides for the establishment of sewer connection fees
based upon assessing a proportionate share of the costs of
sewer line construction to applicants for sewer connections
pursuant to the method of computation set forth in said
section;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Insofar as the fee for sewer connection is
determined by a net increase in fixture units serviced by
the sewer line for which connection application is made, the
fee shall be Eleven Dollars ($11.00) per fixture unit added
to the sewer line service, which figure is hereby established
as the assessment per fixture unit.
2. Whenever an applicant is to be assessed a fee
for a "first occupancy unit" on a parcel not previously
connected to a public sewer, the fee for such "first occupancy
unit" shall be Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) multiplied by the
number of feet of frontage of said parcel on the street,
which figure is hereby found to be seventy-five percent
(75%) of the standard cost of construction of a main sewer
line for such distance.

the following vote:

Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto
