A P~SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO PROVIDE A SPECIAL EQUITY
COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENT FOR THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT CLASS
OF MUSEUM DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all offi-
cers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on August 24, 1979, approved a two-year salary
adjustment plan for unrepresented Executive (EM) and Middle-Management (~) classes,
effective July 1, 1979, including special equity adjustments for several classes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council also considered granting a special adjustment to the
class of Museum Director at that time but deferred final action until this time
pending receipt of certain additional information pertinent to the matter from the
City Manager; and
WHEREAS, based on the supplemental information submitted on this date by the
City Manager, the Council agrees that a special equity salary adjustment for the
class of Museum Director is warranted and that said special adjustment, hereinabove
specified, shall be retroactive to July 1, 1979.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana:
1. That Section 3, of Resolution 58-281, as amended, is hereby further amended
by:
a. Assigning, in accordance withthe recently-adopted two-year salary
adjustment plan for Executive and Middle-Management classes, the class of Museum
Director (EM) to the following salary rate ranges on the effective dates as next
herein set out:
