A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA INCREASING AND ESTABLISHING LOCAL
DRAINAGE AREA FEES AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 79-71
WHEREAS, on August 7, 1961, the City of Santa Ana
adopted a Storm and Surface Water Drainage Plan as an
element of the General Plan of the City; and
WHEREAS, Section 34-193 of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code establishes thirteen (13) local drainage areas and
authorizes drainage fees for each such area; and
WHEREAS, the construction cost index for the Los
Angeles area (which includes Santa Ana) as established
by the Engineering News Record indicates a 6.37% increase
in construction costs during the twelve month period
ending December 31, 1979;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
1. That from and after the date of adoption hereof,
the drainage area fee to be paid for each gross acre of
land being subdivided or developed in each of the local
drainage areas, respectively, shall be as follows:
Local Drainage Area No. I $2,100.00
Local Drainage Area No. II 2,025.00
Local Drainage Area No. III 2,270.00
Local Drainage Area No. IV 1,505.00
Local Drainage Area No. V 2,250.00
Local Drainage Area No. VI 1,685.00
Local Drainage Area No. VII 1,940.00
Local Drainage Area No. VIII 1,535.00
Local Drainage Area No. IX 1,205.00
Local Drainage Area No. X 1,645.00
Local Drainage Area No. XI 1,995.00
Local Drainage Area No. XII 760.00
Local Drainage Area No. XIII 665.00
2. Resolution No. 79-71 of this Council, adopted on
May 7, 1979, is hereby repealed.
