A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 74-162 TO REVISE THE TRANSITIONAL
CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN ESTABLISHED FOR THE EMPLOYMENT
OF UNEMPLOYED SANTA ANA RESIDENTS UNDER THE COMPREHENSIVE
EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT OF 1973 (C.E.T.A.)
WHEREAS, on November 18, 1974, the City Council passed and adopted Resolu-
tion No. 74-162 establishing special transitional classes and pay rates for the
employment of unemployed Santa Aha residents under the Comprehensive Employment
and Training Act of 1973 (C.E.T.A.); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to (a) add the new class title of PUBLIC SERVICE
WORKER at Salary Rate Range No. 230 $641-$779 per month, effective May 16, 1980
with no rate range adjustment on July 1, 1980 as has been previously scheduled for
existing CETA classes and (b) delete all class titles designated as "terminal" (T)
by previous Council action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana:
1. That Resolution No. 74-162, as amended, is hereby further amended by re-
vising the list of class titles and salary rate ranges set opposite said class
titles to read as follows:

2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after May 16, 1980.
ADOPTED this 19th day of ~ay , 1980, by the following vote:
