RESOLUTION NO. 80- 92
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA OVERRULING THE ZONING
ADMINISTRATOR'S DENIAL OF MINOR EXCEPTION
APPLICATION 80-13, GRANTING APPEAL NO. 414,
AND APPROVING MINOR EXCEPTION NO. 80-13.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the
City Council on May 19, 1980, on the action taken by the
Zoning Administrator in denying Minor Exception Application
No. 80-13, which application seeks to allow sale of liquor
(distilled spirits) for on-site consumption in addition to
sale of beer and wine for on-site consumption in an existing
restaurant at 3644 South Bristol Avenue in the CR District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana as folows:
1. That based on such public hearing and the
oral and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City
Council does hereby reverse the action of the Zoning Administrator,
grant Appeal No. 414, and approve Minor Exception No. 80-13.
2. That the City Council adopts as its findings
of fact and conditions of approval for the approval of the
said Minor Exception that certain report entitled "Finding
of Fact, Minor Exception 80-13," submitted by the Zoning
Administrator and on file in the office of th~ Clerk of the
Council with the exception that "Reason for Decision" (a)
therein is amended to read as follows:
"The proposed use is desirable as contributing to
the general well-being of the neighborhood, as
existing establishment in the area do not make up
a very heavy concentration of liquor licenses."
ADOPTED this 2nd day of June , 1980,
