A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF
POLICE COMPUTER SYSTEMS MANAGER AND TO DESIGNATE SAID NEW
CLASS AS UNREPRESENTED MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and ~°mpensation
Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Aha
requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a poSition classification
and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations md the approval of the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new classiC{cation for the purpose of proper-
ly classifying an existing position authorized .and/included in the current annual
budget for the Police Department, Computer~r~e~ Section (Account No. 11-338) and
to allocate said new class to an appropr~l~Vel of compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDAby~ City Council of the City of Santa Aha:
1. That Section 3 of Resolu~.No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further
amended by:
a. Adding, in pro~ al~ibetical sequence, the new class of Police
Computer Systems Manager a~ ~ Rate Range No. 477, $2139-$2600, effective
uly 7, 1980.
b. Designating?.s~/~%~id' new class as unrepresented Middlethe classManag%m%entt t by
adding the parentheticaiz~entifier (I~) next to following .
2. That this R~olution shall be operative from and after July 7, 1980.
