RESOLUTION NO. 80- 209
A P~ESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION 80-112
TO CHANGE A COMPROMISE AND RELEASE OF A
CERTAIN WORKERS'COMPENSATION CLAIM AGAINST
THE CITY TO A STIPULATED SETTLEMENT OF
SAID CLAIM.
WHEREAS, on June 16, 1980, the City Council passed
and adopted Resolution No. 80-112, authorizing the payment
of Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Two Dollars Fifty
Cents ($14,752.50) in return for a Compromise and Release of
the Workers' Compensation claim filed by DELBERT R. CARR.
WHEREAS, Counsel for DELBERT Ro CARR mistakenly
misrepresented applicants position as to a settlement of
said claim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to pay
the sum of Eighteen Thousand Nine Hundred Seventeen Dollars
Fifty Cents ($18,917.50), in return for execution and delivery
to the City of a Stipulations with Request For Award of that
certain Workers Compensation claim heretofore filed by
DELBERT R. CARR against the City regarding injuries incurred
by said employee on or about October 21, 1977, December 13,
1978, February 3, 1979, and February 5, 1976 through February
5, 1979.
ADOPTED this 17th day of November , 1980,
by the following vote:
