HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-213REL: adg I 11/?0 80 RESOLUTION NO. 80- 213 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION DENYING A REQUEST FOR A POLE SIGN PURSUANT TO C5 SITE PLAN REVIEW NO. 43 AND DENYING APPEAL NO. 425 WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the City Council of the City of Santa Ana on November 17, 1980, on the action of the Planning Commission in denying a request for a pole sign pursuant to C5 Site Plan Review, at the northwest corner of Main Street and Dyer Road in the C5 Use District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: 1. That based on such public hearing and on the oral and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City Council does hereby affirm the action of the Planning Commission in denying the said pole sign request, and denying Appeal No. 425. 2. That, in denying such request, this Council finds and determines that the said pole sign, as proposed, is excessive in size, height, and number of colors.
