A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA ESTABLISHING A MECHANISM FOR
DISTRIBUTION OF PROPERTY TAX
REVENUE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
MASTER PROPERTY TAX AGREEMENT AND
REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE SECTION
99 (b)
WHEREAS, Revenue and Taxation Code/Section 99(b)
requires implementation of annexations by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the County Counsel has so decided that
all annexations subject to property tax negotiations under
AB S must conform to this section; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to accept the property
tax revenue for annexations listed in exhibit A of the Master
Property Tax Agreement as provided in said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA does accept this requirement and
hereby directs the Clerk of the Council to deliver a copy of
this Resolution to the County Counsel of Orange County.
ADOPTED this 8th day of December, 1980, by the
following vote.
