RESOLUTION NO. 81-7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE
CERTAIN DOCUMENTS PURSUANT TO THE DEFERRED PAYMENT
REHABILITATION LOAN PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana, ("City") has established
a Rehabilitation Deferred Payment Loan Program ("Rehab Deferred
Program") using Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG")
funds to assist in improving or rehabilitating residences
owned or occupied by persons or families of low income, as
defined in Title 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section
570.100.3(o) and (p), thereby upgrading the housing stock of
the City of Santa Ana and creating a better environment; and
WHEREAS, said Deferred Program includes both interest-
bearing and non-interest-bearing loans from said funds, the
incidents of interest and installment payments to be determined
according to said Deferred Program guidelines; and
WHEREAS, implementation of said Rehab Deferred Program
requires the execution on behalf of City of certain agreements
with Borrowers and other documents promulgated pursuant to
said Rehab Deferred Program; and
WHEREAS, City desires to authorize said Rehab Deferred
Program Loan Committee, consisting of the Assistant City Manager,
the Director of Community Development, and the Finance Director
of the City of Santa Ana to approve all agreements, documents
and forms, required to be executed by City pursuant to said
Rehab Deferred Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana that the Deferred Program Loan Committee,
consisting of the Assistant City Manager, the Director of
Community Development, and the Finance Director of the City of
Santa Ana are hereby authorized to execute all agreements,
documents and forms required to be executed by City pursuant
to said Rehab Deferred Program.
