A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF RECREATION SUPERIN-
TENDENT AND TO CHANGE THE CLASS TITLE OF LEISURE SERVICES MANAGER
TO SPECIAL FACILITIES MANAGER
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for employees
of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana
requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification
and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the
City Council; and
WHERF~kS, it is now desired to further amend said Basic Classification and Com-
pensation Plan by changing an existing class title and adding a new class title.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further
amended by:
a. Changing the ~itle of the existing middle-management class of Leisure
Services Manager (MM) to SPECIAL FACILITIES MANAGER (MM).
b. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new clas title of
RECREATION SUPERINTENDENT at Salary Rate Range No. 468, $2048-$2488
per month.
c. Designating the new class of Recreation Superintendent as unrepre-
sented Middle-Management by adding the parenthetical identifier (MM)
next to following the class title.
2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after January 5, 1981.
