A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH
THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR $1,924,348
TO CONSTRUCT THE SANTA ANA INTERCITY COMMUTER STATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana authorized
the submittal of a grant request to the California Department of Transportation
for funds to construct a new Intercity Commuter Station; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation has recommended
award of a grant to the City of Santa Ana for this project; and
WHEREAS, the California Transportation Commission has awarded a
grant to the City of Santa Ana for $1,924,348 to construct this project;
and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation is the agency
charged with administrating this grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA RESOLVES:
That the Mayor be authorized to execute a grant agreement and related documents
for implementation between the California Department of Transportation and the
City of Santa Ana for construction of the Santa Ana Intercity Commuter Station.
