RESOLUTION NO. 81-164
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AFFIRMING THE DECISION
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION DENYING
VARIANCE APPLICATION NO.80-75 AND DENYING
APPEAL NO. 444 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
3610 WEST SEVENTEENTH STREET
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the
City Council of the City of Santa Ana on October 5, 1981, on
the action taken by the Planning Commission in denying
Variance Application No. 80-75, which application seeks to
allow storage of heavy equipment and employees' parking in a
vacated railroad right-of-way at 3610 West Seventeenth
Street in the R1, R2 and M1 Districts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That based on such public hearing and on the
oral and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City
Council does hereby affirm the action of the Planning
Commission in denying Variance Application No. 80-75, and
deny Appeal No. 444.
2. That the City Council hereby adopts a~ its
findings of fact for denial of Variance Application No. 80-
75 that certain "Finding of Fact, Variance Application No.
80-75," prepared and submitted by the Planning Commission,
on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Council, and
incorporated by reference herein as though fully set forth.
ADOPTED this 26th day of 0ct0ber , 1981,
by the following vote:
