RESOLUTION NO. 81-165
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AFFIRMING WITH
MODIFICATION THE DECISION OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION GRANTING VARIANCE
NO. 81-20 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
913 EAST SIXTH STREET AND DENYING
APPEAL NO. 453.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the
City Council of the City of Santa Ana on October 5, 1981, on
the action taken by the Planning Commission in approving
Variance Application No. 81-20, to allow outside storage of
vans and equipment, subject to certain conditions, at 913
East Sixth Street in the R3H District;
WHEREAS, prior to taking action on said Variance,
this Council has reviewed and considered the information
contained in Negative Declaration, Initial Study No. 81-80
for the subject property, and on the basis thereof finds
that the project will not have a significant effect on the
environment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That based on such public hearing and the
oral and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City
Council does hereby affirm the action of the Planning
Commission approving Variance Application No. 81-20, and
does hereby deny Appeal No. 453, subject to the modification
in the conditions of approval hereinbelow set forth.
2. That the City Council hereby adopts as its
findings of fact for approval of said Variance that certain
report entitled "Finding of Fact, Variance Application No.
81-20," submitted by the Planning Commission and on file in
the office of the Clerk of the Council.
3. That the said Variance is approved subject to
the same requirements as set forth in the abovesaid report
of the Planning Commission, except that that requirement
therein numbered 7.A.(1) is deleted.
