A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF
WATER DIVISION CLERK-DISPATCHER TO THE CITY'S BASIC
CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN.
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 48-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all
officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa
Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classi-
fication and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the
approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, with the adoption of the 1981-82 Annual Budget for the Water
Utility Division of the Public Works Department, City Council authorized the funds
to effect the upgrading of a clerical position to a new, higher-level clerical
class title at an appropriate salary level.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding the class title of WATER DIVISION CLERK-DISPATCHER and assigning
it to the following salary adjustment schedule:

Salary Range Number 328 340 346
2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after October 1, 1981.
