A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO
CORRECT THE TWO-YEAR SALARY SCHEDULE ASSIGNED TO
THE CLASS OF ASSISTANT CLERK OF THE COUNCIL BY
RESOLUTION 81-139.
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted
Resolution No. 58-281, revising and reestablishing the Basic Compensation Plan
for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution;
and
WHEREAS, on August 17, 1981, the City Council passed and adopted
Resolution No. 81-139, amending Resolution 58-281 to provide a new compensation
plan for management personnel including salary adjustment schedules for fiscal
years 1981-82 and 1982-83; and
WHEREAS, when converting from the previous 5-Step pay range to the
3-Step pay range set forth in the new Management Compensation Plan, staff inad-
vertently assigned the class of Assistant Clerk of the Council to the wrong
salary schedule; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to correct the error and adjust the initial
and future salary rate ranges assigned to said class to reflect the ranges that
had originally been intended for assignment to the class.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha that Section 3 of Resolution No. 48-281, as amended by Resolution No. 81-139,
is hereby further amended by changing the several salary rate ranges assigned to
the class title of Assistant Clerk of the Council to read as next herein set out:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall be operative from
and after July 1, 1981.
