A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO CHANGE THE CLASS
TITLE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (MM) TO
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT-COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (MM)
AND TO INCREASE THE ASSIGNED SALARY LEVEL OF THE CLASS.
WHERMAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted
Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Co~pensation Plan
for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of
Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position
classification and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and
the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution;
and
WHEREAS, the nature, scope and responsibilities of the single-position
class of Community Development Coordinator (MM) have been significantly expanded
to include major administrative staff work in the Department of Co~uunity
Development; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to provide a level of remuneration and a class
title commensurate with the assigned duties and responsibilities of the class.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby
further amended by:
a. Changing the class title of Community Development Coordinator
(MM) to ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (MM).
b. Assigning the retitled class to the following two-year
management compensation adjustment schedule:

2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after January 1,
