RESOLUTION No. 82-31
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
AND THE COUNTY OF ORANGE DEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTION
THEREOF
WHEREAS, there exists a need for safe and sanitary
dwelling accommodations in this City for persons and
families of low and moderate income at rentals they can
afford; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to designate the
County of Orange Development Agency pursuant to Health and
Safety Code Section 33210 as the Agency responsible for
exercising the powers granted by the Community Redevelopment
Law with respect to a certain described Section 8 housing
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it re~olved by the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana that that certain Agreement with
the County of Orange and the County of Orange Development
Agency, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and
incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved
and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the
Agreement.
