RESOLUTION NO. 83-40
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA DESIGNATING THE DIRECTOR
OF FINANCE TO ACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
COUNCIL IN THE CORRECTION AND/OR
CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, this City Council by resolution has
authorized the imposition of certain special assessments,
and directed the Auditor - Controller of the County of
Orange (hereinafter referred to as Auditor) to add the same
to the tax roll; and
WHEREAS, it is periodically necessary to request
the Auditor to make certain corrections and/or cancellations
of the same; and
WHEREAS, the Auditor has determined that,
henceforth no corrections or cancellations of special
assessments may be made to the tax roll without the
authorization of this City Council or the designee of this
City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that this City Council's designee
for the correction and/or cancellation of all special
assessments is the City's Director of Finance.
