RESOLUTION NO. 83-113
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE FIRE CHIEF OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA TO ENTER INTO AN AUTOMATIC
AND FIRE PROTECTION AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA WITH THE UNITED STATES MARINE
CORPS AIR STATION, SANTA ANA AND EL TORO
WHEREAS, it is of mutual benefit to the City of
Santa Ana, and the United States Marine Corps Air Station,
anta Ana and E1 Toro, that the fire protection services
f each such agency be extended outside of its territorial
urisdiction and into that of the other pursuant to an agree-
ent for automatic aid in specified circumstances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Fire Chief of the City of Santa Ana
is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of
Santa Ana, an agreement with the United States Marine Corps
Air Station, 'Santa Ana.a,nd El Toro, providing for the auto-
Oatic aid of the City of Santa Ana's fire protection services
in the territorial jurisdiction serviced by the United States
Marine Corps Air Station, Santa Ana and E1 Toro.
2. Such agreement shall be on such terms and
6onnditions as the Fire Chief shall deem appropriate, and
shall provide for such reciprocal automatic aid by the
United States Marine Corps Air Station, Santa Ana and E1
oro, in the City of Santa Ana as the Fire Chief shall de -
ermine to be in the best interests of the City of Santa
na, and shall be subject to approval as to form by the

3. The Fire Chief is further authorized to act
on behalf of the City of Santa Ana in the amendment or ter-
mination of any currently effective agreement between the
