RESOLUTION NO. 83- 159
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA AUTHORIZING THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS COMPANY TO
DISTRIBUTE UTILITY USERS TAX REFUNDS ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the Southern California Gas Company, by letter
agreement dated December 1, 1983, has expressed its willingness to
administer refunds of Utility Users Tax revenues in accordance with
the refund of certain amounts collected by said company from its
customers; and
WHEREAS, this Council desires that the Southern
California Gas Company administer said Utility Users Tax refunds
in accordance with the said letter agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Southern California Gas Company
is hereby authorized to distribute Utility Users Tax refunds on
behalf of the City of Santa Ana in accordance with the abovesaid
letter agreement, and the Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
ADOPTED this 19th day of December 1983.
