A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 73-132 ESTABLISHING TIME LIMITED PARKING ZONES ON
FIRST STREET.
WHEREAS, this Council, on December 17,1973, adopted Resolution No.
73-132 restricting stopping on certain areas of First Street; and
WHEREAS, due to redevelopment of the area and median construction on
First Street, said Resolution No. 73-132 no longer provides appropriate parking
regulations; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Services Department has routine administra-
tive authority to establish appropriate parking controls on city streets within
the City of Santa Ana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA that Resolution No. 73-132 of said council is hereby rescinded, and the
Director of Transportation Services is hereby instructed to post parking
regulations as may be necessary for the safe and expeditious movement of
traffic.
