RESOLUTION NO. 86-6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA CERTIFYING THE FINAL
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA ENTERPRISE ZONE
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is applying for
"Enterprise Zone" designation for a certain area in the north
central portion of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the laws
of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, an "Enterprise Zone" is a distinct geo-
graphical area where State tax incentives are offered to in-
dustrial and commercial businesses in order to stimulate
development and encourage private investment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has developed a
number of incentive programs and projects which are proposed
to be accomplished with the aid of the "Enterprise Zone"
designation (hereinafter referred to collectively as "the
Project"); and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared a final environmental
impact report for the Project, consisting of a draft environ-
mental impact report dated November, 1985 plus "Appendix G"
containing comments on the draft environmental impact report
and responses thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana certifies
that the final environmental impact report for the Project has
been completed in compliance with the California Environmental
Quality Act.

2. The City Council further certifies that the said
final environmental impact report has been presented to this
Council and that this Council has reviewed and considered the
information contained therein prior to approving the Project.
