A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION 82-110 TO DELETE ONE CLASS TITLE AND
CHANGE SEVERAL CLASS TITLES CONTAINED IN THE BASIC
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN FOR NON-MANAGEMENT

WHEREAS, on August 2, 4982 the City
Resolution No. 82-110 revising and
Classification and Compensation Plan for the
the City of Santa Aha; and
Council passed and adopted
re-establishing the basic
Officers and Employees of
WHEREAS, Section 4004, Article X of the City Charter of the City
of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a
position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and
regulations and the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, City Council has from time to time amended said
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, with the adoption of the annual budget for Fiscal Year
1986-87, the City Council authorized certain organizational and staffing
changes which affect several class titles in the basic classification and
compensation plan for non-management classes of employment contained in
Resolution 82-110; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend said Resolution to delete,
add and change several class titles affected by said organizational and
staffing changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution 82-110 is hereby further
amended by:
a. Deleting the class title of Staff Writer/Assistant; and
b. Changing the following class titles as indicated at no
change in currently assigned salary levels=
