A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA AN~ SUPPORTING THE APPLICATION
OF ORANGE ODUNTY FOR SB 821 FUNDS FOR A BICYCLE TRAIL
WHEREAS, the County of Orange will apply for SB 821 funds for a bicycle
bridge across the Santa Ana River north of Seventeenth Street to replace the
existing channel bottc~u crossing on this link of the Santa Aha River Bicycle
Trail; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed bridge crossing is within the city limits of the City
of Santa Ana; and,
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has requested that the City of Santa Ana
support their application for SB 821 funds.
NOW, %~iEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana does hereby support the County of Orange's application for SB 821 funds for
the bridge crossing.
