RESOLUTION NO. 86-103
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING
A FEE FOR THE COORDINATION OF
DEVELOPMENT PROCESSING
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has provided for the
coordination of review and decision-making and the provision
of information regarding the status of all applications and
permits for developments by its Planning and Building Safety
Agency; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines it to be nec-
essary and appropriate to charge fees to defray costs which
are directly attributable to the coordination of the applica-
tions of developers by a single administrative entity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. As to any development project having a total
valuation (as determined in accordance with building permit
fee assessmen~s~ of .$20,000 or more, the appl~agt for such
perm~ ~i pay, together with and in addition to any and
all other building permit fees, a "development processing
coordination fee" to defray costs which are directly attrib-
utable to the coordination of the applications of developers
by a single administrative entity within the City of Santa
Ana.
2. The abovesaid "development processing coordination
fee" shall be in the amount of three-tenths of one percent
(0.3%) of the total valuation of the development project as
determined in accordance with building permit fee assessments.
