RESOLUTION NO. 85- 80
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO RESERVE THE
SOUTHERNMOST PARKING SPACE ON THE WEST
SIDE OF ROSS STREET BETWEEN SANTA ANA
BOULEVARD AND CIVIC CENTER DRIVE FOR
EXCLUSIVE USE OF SPECIAL PERMIT HOLDERS
WHEREAS, delays in
Parking Lot prevent officers
convenient visits to offices

entering and exiting the Civic Center
of the City from making brief and

WHEREAS, a Ross Street parking space reserved for park-
ing by special permit would provide the convenience necesSary for
such brief visits; and
WHEREAS, section 36-132 of th~ Santa Ana Municipal Code
permits the Council to direct by resolut~.~n the Executive Director
of the Public Services Agency to place signs prohibiting Parking
on any portion of any street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana does hereby resolve that the southernmost
parking space on the west side of Ross Street between Santa Ana
Boulevard and Civic Center Drive is designated as no parking,
stopping or standing at any time except by permit and that the
Executive Director of the Public Services Agency so mark said
