A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SUPPLEMENT NO. 33 TO LOCAL
AGENCY/STATE AGREEMENT NO. 07-5063 TO
IMPROVE THE RAILROAD CROSSING AT
WARNER AVENUE AND THE RAILWAY TRACKS,
XING NO. 2-178.8-C
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to
provide improvement to the railroad crossings in the city;
and
WHEREAS, the crossing at Warner Avenue and the
ATSF Railway Tracks presently has no crossing gates; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Highway Safety Act provides
for assistance in the amount of 90% of the cost of the
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana and the City of
Tustin will share equally in the required 10% matching
funds; and
WHEREAS, the 5% local agency matching funds are
available,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized and directed to execute Supplement No.
33 to Local Agency Agreement No. 07-5063 to improve the
railroad crossing at Warner Avenue and the ATSF Railway
Tracks.
