RESOLUTION NO. 85-138
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING A "TOYS
ON PARADE" PARTICIPATION POLICY
WHEREAS, "Toys on Parade" is a professionally produced
City of Santa Ana parade which is televised live; and
WHEREAS, "Toys on Parade" provides a quality tradi-
tional event for residents and viewers; and
WHEREAS, "Toys on Parade" is an event designed to carry
out the City Council's marketing objectives;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the only elected officials to ride in
"Toys on Parade" shall be the Honorable Mayor and the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana.
