A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 85-157
TO REMOVE VARIOUS COSTS TO THE APPLICANT
FOR DISABILITY RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, on December 17, 1985 the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution No. 85-157 delegating authority to the City
Manager to make disability retirement determinations pursuant
to Government Code Section 21025 and providing for appeal
procedures; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide disability
retirement applicants with an evidentiary hearing by the City
without cost except as provided in ~ 1-19 the Santa Ana
Municipal Code;
NOWv THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Section 2 of Resolution No. 85-157 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"2." Any person who has received an adverse
determination by the City Manager under this
resolution may appeal to the City Council pursuant to
the provisions of Chapter 3 of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code and subject to the provisions of s 1-19 of the
Santa Ana Municipal Code.
2. Sections
hereby repealed.
