'A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLU-
tION NO. 87-61 TO REVISE THE WATER
RATES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA

WHEREAS, the water rates of the City of Santa Ana
were previously established at $0.55 per 100 cubic feet by
Resolution No. 83-99 of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, by its Resolution No.
87-61~ adopted July 7, 1987, approved an increase in the water
rates to $0.65 per 100 cubic feet, effective January 1, 1988;
and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to modify said increase
in water rates so as to maintain the current rate of $0.55 per
100 cubic feet until January 1, 1989 and increase said water
rates to $0.59 on such date;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:

follows:
1. That subsection A of section 1 of Resolution
of the City Council is hereby amended to read as
A. WATER RATES
RATE PER 100 CUBIC FEET
ALL $0.59*
*Effective January 1, 1989
2. The water rates of $0.55, as established by
Resolution No. 83-97 of the City Council, shall continue in
effect until January 1, 1989.
