OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF TRAINING
PROGRAM PARTICIPATI(~ AGREEMENTS WITH THE
CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL
WHEREAS,: The State of California,~ Department of California
Highway Patrol requires written training agreements from any agency
participating in their training programs; and
fWHEREAS,,rom t'n~e The Police Department of the City of Santa Ana
desires to time to participate in certain training
programs sponsored and administered by theDepartment of California
Highway Patrol; and
WHEREAS, a resolution of the Santa Ana
authorizing execution of participation agreements by
Police is required for the 1988/89 fiscal year.

NOW THEREFORE% BE IT RE~OLYED by the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana that the Chief of Police is hereby authorized and
directed to execute such training participation agreements as and
when required for the fiscal year 1988 through 1989.
